After breakfast at your hotel in Marrakech, your adventure begins with a scenic drive through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, crossing the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, we’ll stop to explore the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most remarkable fortified villages.

We then continue to Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Sahara” and home to Africa’s largest film studios, where famous productions such as Gladiator and The Mummy were filmed. After enjoying lunch in Ouarzazate, we travel onward to the beautiful Dades Valley, passing through Kelaat M’Gouna in the Valley of Roses, renowned for its annual Rose Festival and fragrant rose products.

After breakfast, we continue our journey toward the magical Merzouga Desert. Along the way, we’ll pause for a panoramic photo stop overlooking the beautiful town of Tinghir, surrounded by a vast palm oasis.

We then visit the impressive Todra Gorges, where you’ll have time to walk along the river and admire the towering canyon walls that rise dramatically on either side.

Our route continues to Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops, where you can discover the region’s fascinating prehistoric treasures and handcrafted fossil pieces. From here, we drive directly to Merzouga, where the golden dunes of the Sahara await.

Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a memorable camel trek across the dunes to your luxury desert camp, fully equipped with comfortable beds, private showers, and en-suite toilets. In the evening, savor a delicious traditional Moroccan dinner, followed by live Berber music and drumming around the campfire beneath a sky filled with stars.

After breakfast at the desert camp, you’ll meet your 4×4 driver for an exciting exploration of the Moroccan Sahara.

Our first stop is a visit to local Berber nomads, where you’ll gain insight into their traditional lifestyle and how they adapt to life in the desert. We then continue to the historic M’fis mines, dating back to the French colonial era, and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the vast dunes from a nearby hilltop.

Next, we head to the village of Khamlia, famous for its vibrant Gnaoua music. Here, you’ll experience a live traditional performance and enjoy a delicious local lunch.

In the afternoon, transfer to your hotel in Merzouga for some well-deserved relaxation. You’ll also have the option to enjoy activities such as sandboarding, quad biking, or buggy riding across the dunes.

Today, we bid farewell to the Sahara Desert and journey toward Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa.” This cinematic city is home to the famous Atlas Studios, where renowned productions such as Gladiator, Babel, and scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed.

Along the way, we travel through Rissani, Alnif, Nkob, and Zagora — another gateway to the desert known for its palm groves and historic kasbahs. In Zagora, we’ll stop to explore the lush palm oasis and enjoy lunch before continuing our scenic drive.

Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, you’ll have free time to explore the area at your own pace and discover more about its rich film heritage and unique desert charm.

On the final day of your journey, we travel back to Marrakech, crossing the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll stop at the charming Berber village of Taddart, located halfway between Ouarzazate and Marrakech — a perfect place to stretch your legs and enjoy the stunning mountain scenery.

Afterwards, we continue our scenic drive back to Marrakech, marking the end of your unforgettable Sahara adventure.
