Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Airport pick-up and transfer to your hotel/riad.

Free time to relax or take a first stroll in the vibrant medina.

Overnight: Riad/Hotel in Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech Guided City Tour

Visit Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs. Explore the colorful souks and artisans’ quarters.

Walk through Majorelle Garden and optionally visit Yves Saint Laurent Museum. End the day at the lively Jemaa el-Fna Square with street food and performances.

Overnight: Riad/Hotel in Marrakech.

Day 3: Marrakech → Casablanca → Rabat Drive to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city.

Visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque (one of the largest in the world). Continue to Rabat, the political capital.

Explore Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas.

Overnight: Hotel in Rabat.

Day 4: Rabat → Meknes → Volubilis → Fez

Depart Rabat for Meknes, once the capital under Sultan Moulay Ismail. Visit Bab Mansour Gate, Sahrij Swani, and Royal Stables.

Short drive to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO site. Continue to Fez, Morocco’s oldest imperial city.

Overnight: Riad/Hotel in Fez.

Day 5: Full Day in Fez

Guided tour of the Fez Medina, the oldest in Morocco.

Visit Bou Inania Madrasa, Al Quaraouiyine Mosque & University, and Nejjarine Museum. Explore the vibrant tanneries and artisan workshops.

Walk through the Mellah (Jewish Quarter).

Overnight: Riad/Hotel in Fez.

Day 6: Fez → Marrakech

Scenic drive back to Marrakech via the Middle Atlas.

Stop at Ifrane (nicknamed “the Switzerland of Morocco”) and Azrou cedar forest, home to wild monkeys.

Arrive in Marrakech in the evening.

Day 7: Departure from Marrakech
